ไฮ่สหายน่าน

สหายหมายถึงคนที่ไปใหนไปด้วยกัน ชอบพอกัน เพื่อนร่วมการงานกัน เพื่อนร่วมสุขร่วมทุกข์ คนที่ชอบอย่างเดียวกัน

เราอยู่กลางป่าห่างจากบ้านผู้คนสามกิโลเมตร ไม่มีไฟฟ้าจากการไฟฟ้า มีแต่โซล่าเซลนิดหน่อย อาศัยแสงจากฟากฟ้าเป็นหลัก เช้าก็ตื่น มืดก็นอน เหนื่อยก็พ้ก ขี้เกียจก็ไม่ต้องทำ น้ำไม่มีระบบน้ำประปา มีแต่น้ำที่ไหลรินมาจากยอดเขาที่ใสสะอาดในความรู้สึกของเรา

อาหารเก็บจากในไร่ของเราและในป่า ที่นี่เราไม่ใช้สารเคมี พืชผักอาจไม่สวยงามในสายตาแต่มันสวยงามอยู่ในใจเรา

ผลไม้ก็อาศัยเก็บกินตามฤดูกาลที่ออกลูกออกผล

ยาที่ใช้รักษา เรากินอาหารให้เป็นยา และถ้าเป็นพวกแผลต่างๆเราก็ใช้ใบไม้หรือยางไม้ยางกล้วยใส่แผล

เสื้อผ้าเราใช้เสื้อผ้าที่เก่าเก็บที่มีผู้คนผ่านไปมาเอามาให้บ้าง เขาลืมใว้บ้าง ไม่ได้ซักด้วยผงซักฟอกเราใช้สบู่ซักฟอกทำเองซัก สีขาวมันเลยไม่ขาวให้เห็น

บ้านพักเป็นแบบธรรมดา นอนกางมุ้ง ไม่มีพัดลมไม่มีแอร์ก็เลยพยายามให้ฝาบ้านโล่งๆเพื่อลมจะได้พัด นอนกลางคืนอาจจะรำคาญกับเสียงน้ำที่ตกและสัตว์เล็กๆน้อยๆร้องรำทำเพลงกัน

กิจกรรมที่เราทำ

ตื่นเช้าดื่มน้ำอุ่นทำโยคะสมาธิตามถนัด

เจ็ดโมงครึ่งกินอาหารเช้า อาหารเป็นพวกข้าวกล้อง ขนมปัง อาหารจีน อาหารมาเลเซีย อาหารพื้นบ้าน

หลังจากนั้นก็ทำอะไรตามใจชอบ ชอบปลูกก็หาปลูก ชอบก่อชอบสร้างก็หาทำ ชอบวาดชอบเขียนก็วาดก็เขียน ชอบเดินเข้าไปในป่าก็ไปในป่า ชอบเล่นแบบเด็กๆก็วิ่งเล่นตามลูกเรา คนโตอายุแปดปี คนเล็กอายุห้าปี ไม่ได้เข้าโรงเรียน โรงเรียนฃองเราอยู่ที่นี่

ภาษาที่ใช้ ภาษาไทย ภาษากำเมือง ภาษาลั้วะ ภาษาจีน ภาษาอังกฤษ เป็นหลัก

กินอาหารเที่ยงถ้าอยู่ในไร่ก็กินในไร่ ถ้าเข้าป่าก็ห่อไปหรือไปทำในป่า

ตอนบ่ายหลังจากอาหารเที่ยงส่วนมากเราจะนอนพักจนถึงบ่ายสองหรือสามโมงแล้วก็ทำต่อ

อาหารเย็นห้าโมงครึ่งตอนเย็น

กลางคืนก็นั่งผิงไฟเผาข้าวหลามบ้างจี่โน่นหมกนี่บ้าง เล่นดนตรีร้องเพลง เล่าเรื่องรอบกองไฟ

ชา กาแฟ จากเตาฟืนมีให้ตลอดตามถนัด

ถ้าอยากมาพักกับเราก็มีหลายรูปแบบ แบบครอบครัวมีลูกมีหลานอยากเรียนรู้โฮมสคูลแบบสหายน่าน หรือมาเป็นคู่หมู่คณะ หรือมาคนเดียวเปลี่ยวเอกา หรือมาหาแฟนเอาข้างหน้า ช่วยโทรมาก่อนหรือส่งไลน์ส่งแมสเซนเจอร์มาก่อน

คุยกันเข้าใจกันแล้วโอนเงิน แต่เราจะไม่คืนเงินให้นะถ้าเปลี่ยนใจแต่เปลี่ยนวันเวลาได้

เราไม่มีกาแฟแบบเป็นซองมีกาแฟของเราเองคั่วเองตำเอง ไม่มีน้ำเป็นขวด แต่มีน้ำที่ไหลมาจากป่าบริสุทธิ์ผ่านเครื่องกรองที่เราผลิตเองใว้ให้ท่านสหายทั้งหลายนะครับ

We are organic farmers who enjoy food, music, art, handmade, nature beauty, peace, and homeschool our kids in our farm. Our “dream” is to live a self-sufficiency permaculture lifestyle harmonically with nature, and be happy at the present.

Sahainan Permaculture Organic Farm has been an education center of permaculture and sustainability for the locals and international. The word “Sahai” means “comrades” or “companions”, they go together, they guide each other, they spend time together, they dream together, work and play together, they support each other.

We welcome anyone who loves to experience simple fun wild life in food forest with our farm family.

Our farm life is pretty much depending on the rhythm of nature. We wake up and sleep relying on the sun, we work and rest relying on the sky.

Sometime we are lazy, we don’t do anything. We can just watch the clouds, stars, moon, greens, and feel the present moment of life. Life is fun, we work for happiness. No pressure, no rush.

We build our huts ourself with volunteers from bamboo, wood, mud, leaf roof, and whatever material we can get. Most huts have no walls for air ventilation and enjoy nature ambience. All huts have toilets nearby, or you can just complete your business in forest under a tree. We have many spaces and a hall that you can use for camping tent. At night, there are water dripping and insect music orchestra. We use solar power system for electricity, no air-cond and no fan.

Some houses are equipped with energy but not all, however we have a charging station that everyone can use for charging phone and laptop.

Our meals are fusion of Thai, Northern Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Western. We harvest fresh fruits and vegetables in our farm, the meal every day is different depending on the season. Meal time is usually 7.30am, 12pm, 5.30pm.

We use natural clean spring water for daily usage. It also makes our food, coffee, and tea sweeter.

The farm coffee, herbal tea, and fire pit are free of charge for you and always available for self-service. You can also bring your own sets if you like.

You can bring your yoga mat if you like yoga and meditation.

Our family is trying to reduce unnecessary waste in our life, especially plastic and polystyrene. If you bring them here, please bring back with you.

We allow our kids to have any snack, but only after they finish their proper meal.

As we homeschool our kids here, every day we have different farmschool activities, such as languages (Thai, northern Thai, Chinese, English, Malay), gardening, harvesting, cooking, art, music, building, carpentry, natural medicines, healing with herbs and nature, and many other life skills.

We occasionally have pizza with Earth Oven and jungle trekking to visit our spring water. Please inform us in advance if you are interested to join.

Please bring your own towel, tooth brush, tooth paste, organic shampoo, power bank, headlamp, tissue paper, and personal medicine. Please make sure your shampoo or soap are free from chemicals of parabens, SLS, SLES, and formaldehyde.

If you wish to have day trip travelling around Nan or Thung Chang, we can ask taxi service for you. There are many local interesting touristic locations here such as Nan River, Hippie River Bar, Temples, Phu Kha National Park, View Points, Salt Mountain and Salt Well, Waterfalls, Traditional Cloth Weaving Centre, Mushroom Farm and Mushroom Pizza, enjoy local Nan Chocolate in Cocoa Valley, Museum, and many more.
